Prevention People LLC brings together credentialed prevention specialists and subject-matter experts — prevention people — to create educational materials, continuing-education training, and practical resources for prevention people everywhere.

Rack cards, toolkits, facilitator guides, and other pieces you can hand out as-is. Every resource names its sources and carries its reproduction terms in print.

Continuing education & training
Courses built by practitioners who hold the same credentials you are maintaining, aligned to board contact-hour and content-domain requirements. Every course comes with a certificate of completion for your renewal file.

Public resources
Our first public resource site, PGPrevention.com, will cover problem-gambling prevention for every U.S. state and territory when it launches. It is built to be read privately, with nothing to sign up for.
How we work
- Practitioner-built. Our materials are created by prevention specialists who hold IC&RC-aligned credentials and do this work for a living.
- Evidence, cited. We quote primary sources exactly, name the instrument and the year, and say plainly when a number is measured and when it's modeled.
- Every jurisdiction, equally. Resources are built for all fifty states, the District of Columbia, and the territories — no state gets the short version.
- Across the harms. Prevention science is shared science. Substance misuse, problem gambling, and other behavioral health risks draw on the same risk and protective factors, so primary prevention is where we build. Our current materials are a starting point.
- Quick on our feet. We are a small shop, and that is deliberate. When the evidence changes or a state needs something new, we can build it without waiting on a grant cycle.
For agencies, coalitions, and organizations
Bringing prevention content to your workforce, your coalition, or your community? We build materials to be procurement-friendly: documented sourcing, clear licensing, and consistent quality across jurisdictions. Need a W-9 or written licensing terms for your file? Ask and we will send them.
We also scale with you. Our eLearning can run under your agency's own brand as a white-label offering. Trainings can be customized to your state's data and rules, with technical assistance while you put them to work. And when a room full of people beats a screen, we train in person: workshops, conference sessions, and team trainings.
